Moore Lions Football Players,
Soon
after the heartbreaking finish of "Moore War XX" I was contacted by numerous parents, grandparents, Moore Lions supporters, friends and
even co-workers who had
no real connection to Moore High School. Their reponses were consistent and reflected how "impressed" they
were with the team and the school's support. Everyone commented on
the determination, courage and tenacity that was displayed by all of the players on every play of the entire game.
The team, and every player on it, could have easily just
given up after being down by 19, but that did NOT happen. YOU, the players, didn't quit, give up or lose your motivation? NO!!! NOT
EVER!! Everyone of you young men buckled
down, became
resolute in your determination and drove forward
for an unbelievable come back.
Your effort
against Westmore was great and your determination and near comeback
inspirational. To that extent,
remember:
"Few things are impossible to achieve. Diligence and skill
and great works are
performed NOT by strength, but perseverance."
And so
"Here's to You, Moore Lions!" We're behind you 100%! We've seen what
you're made of and know you have great capabilities. Keep that
heart of a
LION and soul of a WARRIOR going. Drive hard and
don't let up! We , your families, friends, supporters and
community are BEHIND YOU ALL THE WAY!

Take 2 Video is making a DVD available for
$45.00. They would like to have pre-orders with payments. The DVD will contain highlight
videos of 5 games and 3 special events, which will probably be the Moore War
Assembly, the Homecoming Assembly and a Senior shout out and tribute.
